Sweet! Welcome to the forum.

So what are your plans for the car?

Are you in NZ by any chance? Several things about the car make me think that its not a UK model.

Thanks mate!

Aha, correct you are, I'm in New Zealand.

Plans are widened original steel rims (currently being done), and lower. otherwise keep it as it, and use as a tidy daily.

Ive had a mk2 cortina and a hillman hunter in the past, and this is (so far) the car that requires the least work, so plans are just to keep it running sweet and keeping it reliable etc

Cool, nothing like banded steelies + drop to make a chevette look awesome- very fashionable in NZ recently it seems.

What colour are you going to paint them? I vote white/cream.

i have a full set oh chrome hubcaps, and will probably paint the rims a dark grey to offset the chrome. I had cream steels (8" haha) on my mk2 cortina, and wasnt a huge fan
